  Thank you for visiting our webpage. My name is Joe Burdzinski and I am the current President of the Nye County Republican Club. I have been a registered and active Republican since 1975 (51) years.

  That’s a little about my Republican activities; there is much more but these are the highlights.

  Kaye LaPointe

  Vice President

  I am a lifelong conservative and native Texan. I’ve resided in Nevada 8 years, after living in West Los Angeles and raising my family in Northern Colorado.

  My time in Nevada has been spent assisting with the 2020 election (as Vice Chair of the Nye Central Committee), helping with precincts, fundraisers and the County Convention.

  During the 2024 presidential election I worked with the Trump Campaign and the Nevada GOP to support Republican candidates throughout our county and state. Much of my time was devoted to early voting and Election Day activities and the Nevada Caucus.

  As a retired educator and Head Start Administrator, I still enjoy working 3 hours a day at a local elementary school. The children here need mentors, role models and friends that they know care about them. I strive to always give back to my community in any way that I can.

  I have been a Republican since the late 1970’s early 1980. I first moved to Pahrump, NV in 2012. In 2021 I relocated to Florida, returning to Pahrump in 2022.

  As a member of the Nye County Republican Party I spent time on the finance committee. I was actively involved in the Events committee, helping to create many of our fundraising events. Such as the Lincoln Day Dinner, Reagan Day Dinner, Luau pool/lunch days. As well as helping to create many smaller events to raise funds. In 2017 I chaired the Legislative Committee, we monitored the legislation in Carson and kept our members abreast of the bills processing through and the effects they would have on Nevadans. Recommending those we should support or oppose. The legislative committee provided members training to access these bills and how to use their voice through email and/or directly utilize the website.

  I consider myself a constitutional and fiscal conservative and the Republican Party best aligns with my values. I believe in the strength of family and religious values. Taking care of neighbors and self responsibility.

  As a Naturalized American I believe strongly in the opportunities the United States of America affords every citizen and am very thankful for the opportunities this country has afforded to me.

  I have been a registered Republican since 2020, having previously been registered as an Independent since 1999. I have lived in Nye County, NV since October 2013.

  I have supported and attended a Trump rally, I have attended the County Republican Conventions the last two cycles, I have supported and participated in two successful candidate elections.

  I changed my party affiliation to Republican so I could participate in the primary and express my perspective by voting against a specific candidate. I believe that being involved in the process, even when it means voting ‘no’, is an important part of civic engagement and ensures my voice is heard in shaping the direction of the party.

  I left my birth state of New York and found my way to Nevada in 1980. At the time I considered Nevada to be the freest state in the Country. Eventually moved to Pahrump in 1983 as the rural lifestyle suited me.

  I was active with the Libertarian Party then registered Republican in 2008 and was an activist with the N.C.R.C.C. particularly since 2012. I’ve been involved as a State Delegate for many years, steamrolled 11 parade floats, and too many campaign booths to count. Also I manned the party office and was the general handyman / fix it guy / custodian.

  I consider myself a Constitutional Originalist and believe the Founding Fathers were Divinely inspired. In spite of efforts to corrupt it, the United States is still a beacon of freedom for the world.

The club does not publish personal numbers for the board. Everything reaches them through the club line and somebody answers it.
